Trevino Golf Institute is a year-round training facility focused on golf performance. We take a big-picture approach to improvement based on each student’s goals, aspirations, and the time they have available to practice and play.

Our students actually learn. We do not just tell you what to do, we genuinely teach the game of golf. You learn and progress in mental, technical, skill, preparation, practice, on-course execution, and tournament play.

The ability to teach at four different facilities gives us an indoor and outdoor dynamic unmatched not only in Reno, but in many training facilities nationwide.

How We Teach

Every lesson, program, and decision at TGI is built around three interconnected areas. Master all three and your scorecard will show it.

Technique & Skill

The fundamentals that every other part of the game depends on. Using Trackman dual-radar technology and video analysis, we diagnose your swing at the root level — understanding impact, ball flight laws, and movement patterns to create real, lasting improvement.

Golf IQ & Strategy

Playing smarter is often more impactful than swinging better. We teach you how to think on the course, manage risk, and make decisions that consistently produce lower scores.

Scoring

Wedge play, putting, and green reading are the fastest route to lower scores for most golfers — yet the most overlooked in traditional instruction. We treat the short game as its own discipline, because this is where rounds are made or broken.
